Cute hipster layout and easily accessible from the main road. There were lots of tasty looking baked goods available. We just ordered coffees and they were delicious.

Discovered Milkwood Bakery on our early morning walks as it was the only place open for a coffee. It has now become my favourite cafe in Berry. I love the ambience and outdoor seating. I ordered a skinny latte and fruit toast. Coffee good and fruit toast the best I have had. And the only place I have ever been served soft spreadable butter! My mum had a croissant and said it was best ever. This is certainly our new go to cafe in Berry and especially for breakfast!

The menu is so incredibly limited, that they actually have a separate restaurant down the street that is hard to find and even then the food is poor, so we came back and it took us 20mins to order with no seating free. What we initially wanted which was a bacon and egg roll (standard choice) was no longer available. The service is so poor, served us cold croissants with flies on them. When asked if we can have them heated, the ladies looked at us with a snubby attitude and replied that they DONT have a microwave. What restaurant, cafe, bakery, any kind of food service, doesn’t have a microwave. She complained that they would have to put them in the oven so she did. They all muttered something under their breaths and served us the worst coffee to go with the croissants I’ve ever had in my life. I forgot to mention they also charged $1.50 for butter and jam even though we ask just PLAIN croissants and didn’t even end up using any of the butter or jam. I actually pity everyone else in line waiting to get their food.

If you’re after a delicious pie..stop here!Milkwood bakery makes delicious pies for all. They have vegetarian options for the vege foodies out there. The bakery has a nice eco-friendly theme which offers take away and dine in. Today we ordered the beef w/ mushroom pie, steak and carmelised onion pie and chicken and leek pie. Let me say, these pies are a massive upgrade to our usual Woolworths four and twenty pies. Absolutely delicious and would recommend to anyone!

I ordered a Pepito, a coffee and a smoothie. All of them were perfection. The Pepito is like a pain au chocolat on steroids: fabulous! I thought I was back in France! The smoothie was made from high quality ingredients and the coffee was excellent. Loved it!

Nice coffees but could not get poached eggs. Had to settle for a B&E roll which had a funky tasting curry relish on it. Not really a pleasant breakfast taste.

I honestly did not find this place as great as the other reviews say. My friend and I both ordered a beef and mushroom pie and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was not good – it had no flavour at all. The pie was okay but was not the best I’ve had. It meat inside was far too chunky for my liking and the pastry wasn’t as crunchy as I would have liked but otherwise it was fine. Service was reasonable.
