  Wonderful setting, knowledgeable wait staff, amazing food, stunningly plated! Pick a beautiful day to drive and enjoy it,with a winery onsite. Well priced also. Magical Lunch, I must say!

  We had a group of 13 booked here for a wedding dinner. When we arrived we were shuttled into the back tent room which was cold and dark. When asked for an additional heater as there was only one heater to keep all 13 people warm which was a big task seeing as though the tent was letting air in. The waitress said no you didn’t book the restaurant exclusively so you can’t have another heater. Whether or not we booked the restaurant exclusively or not has nothing to do with it, the place needs to go and buy more heaters. The waitresses was extremely defensive and clearly had zero customer service experience. Then we waiting 30 minutes just for a waiter to come and confirm our order even though we had pre ordered every meal a week prior so they should have known exactly what we had wanted. We had told them we only had 2 hours to eat as we had an event to go to after and they clearly didn’t seem to take that into account as everything too forever. At least a 30-40 minute wait between entree and main. When my main turned up, the lasagna was extremely small. So small that it was actually on an entree plate, the whole table thought this was very strange. I’ve eaten at good restaurants all around the world and never experienced such a small main and also the fact it was served on a tiny plate. The scampi entre was also very small. The main meal was like warm at best. Finally we asked 3 times for them to cut the wedding cake and bring it out. Another 30 minute wait. We eventually had to ask them to forget about it as we couldn’t wait any longer. Why is took the staff so long is not good enough. we had dealt with a wedding planner at this restaurant so you would expect a serious amount more attention. When the bride had to get up and tell the manager that everything was taking too long, she replied it’s because we didn’t book the restaurant exclusively. Wow. The lady at the front desk couldn’t even find our booking or point us to our table when we arrived. I would strongly recommend not to eat at this restaurant. Food was poor, service was disgraceful, felt like a bunch of uni students were serving us, and the atmosphere was no good. No wonder it was half empty on a Saturday night. They seriously don’t deserve to stay in business. On a side note, the wine menu was very small and limited, we all expected more than a handful of wine options, none of which we had ever heard of.
