Wow. What a surprise. Lets start with the host and staff. Just amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable about the food. So to the food. Amongst us we had oysters , the pork , goats curd, gazpacho, roasted beetroot salad, the spiced pork, blue eyed cod , the duck and linguine. Wrapped up with a pannacotta. Wine was a fantastic French Pinot. Absolutely fabulous night.

South on Albany is my favourite restaurant on the coast and one that I wish we had in Melbourne as I would happily go every week! We always have starters, mains and dessert as the food is exceptional. The owners and staff are so knowledgable, friendly and passionate. Definitely worth making a trip to Berry for, you won’t be disappointed
I like to think I’ve been spoilt for choice in most places of the world I have lived, including Sydney, Melbourne the Gold Coast and Canberra. But since moving home and finding this little gem amongst many in the region really is quite amazing…This cute little restaurant in the cosy town of Berry is very humbled in its surroundings. The owners are fantastic at what they do and have truly made a mark I believe. In my eyes they surely have anyway…An ever changing find menu showcasing all the fantastic local produce in the region, with a wine list to match. Each meal as pretty as a picture and the flavours always are sure to astound even the most spoilt pallet…It has quickly become my favourite around the south coast, South on Albany is perfect for those intimate moments, nights dining with friends or family or even a more celebrated affair. The team won’t disappoint in making your time there something to remember…Be sure to stop in and say hi, crack a glass of vino and enjoy the customer service and dining!!
Enjoyed my meal here, good ambience, attentive staff and good food. Advise others to book well in advance. Loved the dessert with choc hazelnut mousse and popcorn icecream- amazing flavours! The aged steak was my favourite of the mains. Would like to see more options for mains.
Great restaurant. We have eaten here twice and it is fabulous. Last time we both had the roast chicken leg with salad. They source local ingredients and cook them perfectly. The Thirlmere chicken was the best I’ve eaten anywhere. The desserts are scrumptious too. Well worth a visit and it won’t break the bank.
