One of the more well known bakeries on the main strip of the town centre. From the outside it looked rather busy, and so decided to stop by the bakery for some lunch.The interior is quite small with a few seating inside. It’s all self service. You order at the counter and bring your paid food to the table essentially. The service was rather curt, perhaps one of the staff were having an off day maybe? Perhaps I’ll just call or that.I ordered their butter chicken pie which was rather average for a $5.90 pie, and not worth the hype. It’s not any more expensive than any other gourmet pies, just really disappointing in taste and expectations. Oh well, a note for next time.
Pies were great! Had the chilli, and the beef n mushroom prices good also no gristle in any of the pies very good for a quick lunch in Berry!
Pathetic. Food over priced sandwhiches appalling and they walk around like noone has a clue. Owner embarrassingly rude to everyone. Sauce 0.50 ha what a joke. Not bakery I use to like won’t rate it anymore then a 1
Waited ages as there was a line out door and not enough staff on to handle the amount of customers! The food wasn’t great pie was awful! won’t come again!!!!
Discraseful place. Staff getting treated like dogs from bossfood is not what it cracks up to be.not many staff on to serve so massive line up specially when ur in a hurry.it’s way too hot in there need aircondisappointed all round.
It’s not what it used to be.. There is nothing special about the food here. The staff don’t even crack a smile and the food is certainly not worth smiling about! I often frequent bakeries when I travel, as the food is usually great but Berry Bakery is terrible, the vanilla slice tastes like an entire bottle of vanilla extract was put into the mixture. Shame because years ago it was great.
I purchased a sausage roll and it was on the cusp of being cold!I also ordered a chicken schnitzel sandwich which was dead cold. If this bakery bothered a little more I would return. Sorry, but the food gets a 1/10
