Weekend getaway in hunter, stayed in Voco hotel (previous Sebel) terrible food there, so was thinking about going to Muse or Margan, Margan has higher reviews scores in Zomato so we decided to eat here. We ordered their tasting menu with wine pairing at $160 pp quite reasonable price. Foods are good, mostly farm to table ingredients, the dessert was a bit let down tho. service was very attentive and friendly. Oh, also worth checking out their veggie garden and hens. Would return next visit in hunter.
Absolutely delightful surroundings and restaurant. The food was delicious and plentiful and beautifully presented. We had the 3 course menu and were very happy with what was delivered. So fresh too. We even witnessed one of the kitchen staff running to the garden to collect fresh ingredients and fresh eggs!The surroundings are just lovely and it is worth a short stroll through the garden just for a break between meals.The wine service was a little slow and had to be prompted twice over a few empty glasses but the staff were otherwise very polite and attentive. Would recommend the drive out to Broke for a lovely experience.
Had a wonderful dining experience at margan a few weeks ago. Has the 3 course menu and all were presented beautifully, delicious and using vegetables out of their own garden. The food, the service and wine were all spot on. The staff were attentive, warm and friendly. I couldn’t fault the experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for 5 star dining in the hunter.
