This is one of my favourite places to eat in Thredbo fine dining at a great price, the staff are amazing and the location is perfect for a winter getaway. Definitely a must if you are staying in Thredbo.

Good vibe and atmosphere, food smelt amazing as we walked in. Super cosy and warm but at the same time was spacious and relaxed. The wait staff were great, giving us recommendations for the delicious food, as well as checking on us appropriately on how we were finding the food and our experience. Very much enjoyed our meal with a glass of wine, if I was going to critique anything it would be that I’d hoped my meal would have had more veges – but that said, you can order extra veges as sides to share. All in all, a good experience and place to eat, would definitely eat here again.

I initially turned away from the Terrace after reading a few reviews but it was recommended to us by a lovely couple we met during our stay. The atmosphere is cosy and modern. and the dining room is spacious. I was pleased to see the wine list had some recognisable favourites, with some decent quality wines by the glass. Menu was simple but covered all interests. I had a haloumi salad with asparagus, endive, cherry tomatoes and toasted almonds. Flavourful and not overdressed. The salt and pepper squid was tender with a light, crisp and peppery coating. The mains were luscious and generous in size. My salmon was cooked well, whilst still soft and moist, and crispy skin true to title. The lamb shoulder fell apart and the roasted carrots still had a little bit of bite. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and made sure we were well looked after. The service was quite timely and we didn’t find ourselves waiting all too long between serves despite quite a few people dining. The pricing is fine, and within Thredbo’s average. I was quite shocked some other establishments charged more on average but seemed to be lower quality. Good food, wine and service with a relaxed smile.
