I have finally found a good Chinese takeaway in Hurstville! I was beginning to miss the one we frequent in Kingsford. Anyway, this small shop is located a bit far from central Hurstville but still accessible. The place is small and plenty of customers waiting for their takeaway outside. A good sign that this is a go-to place for Chinese take away – hence the name perhaps? We ordered stir fried vegetable chow mein and deep fried pork rib with spicy salt. We waited for a bit for our order. It is understandable considering the number of customers waiting.Was pretty excited to try the food. The short drive home was worth it. Everything we have ordered was pretty good. The deep fried pork rib was a bit on the greasy side but who care?!? It was the perfect mate for our fried rice. (Sorry it’s Saturday night its cheat day/night! – teeeheehee) It was spicy alright and it makes you want to eat more rice. The noodles was good too. Though the veggies were already limp. I would have preferred it a bit crunchy. All in all a good meal. Will definitely save their number for our take away list. mypostcardtrail.com
