Great coffee. Great service. Great food. I went here for brunch on the weekend, they were pretty full but managed to fit us in. They had a good range of breakfast options and the lunch menu looked interesting, I’ll be back!

Great meal of fillet beef. So tender and great taste. Smallish main menu but that helped with choosing. Asked where the beef was sourced. No wait staff knew. Need better training on this small but important feature. People these days want to know the where their food comes fr.om. Overall fantastic meal costing a bomb but it’s only special occasions for us.

Sticking with the classic brand of coffee beans, they manage to provide some good coffee and hot beverages. Seems to be one of the most love cafes for the locals. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Having previously lived in Springwood, I was delighted to be told about The Bunker. I was a little bit skeptical as to what to expect, I was very pleasantly surprised when we turned up at 11.45am on a Saturday with the cafe already bustling with customers. A very friendly waitress found us a table. Eating an early lunch, I chose the Sechuan Calamari, hubby had the chicken & pumpkin wrap and my elderly mother chose the grilled Barramundi. There was a considerable wait, but totally worth it. My calamari was tender and lightly coated in sechuan spices. The wrap was moist and flavoursone. Mum says her Barramundi was very tasty. Prices are a little high, but I think well worth it for the calibre of the food.

The Bunker is a breath of fresh air in Springwood, which sorely needs more good quality restaurants. I’ve been a number of times for breakfast and lunch. This time I had Eggs Benedict, which was divine. The eggs were perfectly cooked (runny but not undercooked). Only downside was the coffee. Not sure what happened there. Will be back.
