Used to be amazing. Was at at a stage I went each Friday with friends. Sadly the quality went and with that our business. Tried numerous times hoping it was bad timing but unfortunately not to be. Disappointed is a massive understatement as it was once legendary.
I’ve always liked Tenka. The food tastes good, and is reasonably priced. Staff are always overly friendly.Today we had some tempura prawn, teriyaki chicken and avocado rolls. They came out quickly, and were reasonably sized for the price we paid.My only complaints are that the sushi pieces are too big – you can’t put them in your mouth like normal sushi – and they fall apart rather easily instead of holding their roll shape. The restaurant is also a bit cramped – we were a bit put out today when the waitresses sat two strangers at our table because they were full – without asking us if that was ok… It kind of ruined the experience for us.I will probably continue to come her for its convenience and price.
