AMAZING PEPPER BEEF PIE . Fast and friendly service. Always look forward to eating this on my lunch break. Probably in the top 3 best pies I’ve had.
Rates 3.25/5. After a meeting nearby, i had a chance to grab a steak n kidney pie n a chook asparagus pie seeing that they were 1 of the few shops which was busy 1 sodden morning. Didnt get to eat the chook pie but the steak n kidney was beaut. Service was prompt.
Really nice little pie shop. The pies are quite tasty. Beware the sausage roll though if it’s been sitting under the heat lamps for awhile it can get quite dry. Limited seating in the shop, but I guess you can just eat outside in the forum. I’ll have to try one of their take-home pies one-day
Happy Staff and amazing pies . I am a big fan of Michelle when it comes to pies but really this one conquered me with freshness and amazing range. Prompt service, fresh pies and cheerful staff made me rate this 5.
This is my fave pie shop in Sydney hands down. When I used to work on St Leonard’s my friend and I were so addicted we called it Pieday Friday and would try a different flavour each week. My pie picks here are the beef and potato drowned in gravy, the butter chicken pie (yep it’s a thing!) and lastly the spaghetti pie special. I returned last week and the spag special was on and these babies are still as good as I remembered. Convenient location in the train station food court and you can even take home frozen ones for later!
Great pies a lot of options to choose from, over salty hot chips (French fries) had to waste most of them as postveating them I thought I would get excess sodium in me….
Nice alternative to multinational fast food, ubiquitous Thai and Japanese stalls that occupy most food courts. Romeo’s is great for cold days: beef pies, beef with mushroom, chicken, curry, veggie, most popular pies and sausage rolls are on offer. Often my choice for a warm hearty feed. You get served quickly, they’re obviously geared for the lunch time rush. Decent coffee too. noodlies.com
