I was part of a group of 10 on a Saturday night and we all had a blast. Dinners are $50 ($65 on special occasion nights) and consists of a set menu. The meals are served alternately, so if you don’t want your meal, switch with a willing table-mate. We all thought the meals were SUPER value for money and I was especially impressed with the salt & pepper squid/calamari and the lamb shank main. Drink deals are available with a $15 wristband for each member of your group, all in the group have to buy one, though.The entertainment was fun and lively; lots of music for the oldies (70s-80s, mainly). Don’t worry about a partner when dancing because we ended up dancing with anyone and everyone on the dance floor. Major Oak has been open 36 years and they’ve figured out the formula that makes this a great night out. Staff were friendly, polite and focused on their work on a busy Saturday night. The performers looked like they were having a great time, on and off the floor.I can’t wait for our next visit.
