Miss Nina. After hearing Great reviews we decided to give this place a try. I’m always curious to find out the truth. This place has a great vibe. It’s very good if you don’t like being surrounded by people then this isn’t the place for you! It’s in a great location, drinks are delicious and the staff are great, I’ll be back!
All-cast. An absolute winner! I fear I may regret this positive review if I can’t get a booking next time I try due to them being booked out! From the moment I made the booking on the phone, the owner (who I spoke to) seemed determined to please, and was very thankful for the booking. The thought even crossed my mind that maybe the place was a dud and he was desperate for business!
Bitterly disapointed. After purchasing a voucher to this establishment I tried to make a booking by both email & phone. I was told they were fully booked on the requested date & then closed for the following next few days, before I had the chance to ask for another date the number was disconnected. If I had been rude I would have understood the rude & abrupt way I was treated. I wouldn’t bother again
I was confused.. Okay so when I’m told I’m eating at a Spanish Tapas restaurant I was expecting well Spanish. The venue itself is very lovely with cosy atmosphere, obit venue although empty when we arrive, with Arabic music playing in the background and not a Spanish guitar to be heard. The wait staff, just the one lady, was friendly enough, if a bit abrupt. The food on the menu was also a little confusing, it was more a ‘mezze’ menu than a tapas menu.No Chorizo, no pork (the wait staff said it was halal). Many of the dishes that we had I’ve had similar in Arabic restaurants. Portions for 4 person sitting (Cudos Voucher Deal) were small if you wanted to share amongst the four of you.(1 bite..done)The Sangria was just wine and oranges thrown in… Not what I’d call traditional sangria.Won’t be back.
Most dishes warmed in the microwave. Went here on a deals.com vouchure. Very glad I paid a discount price. It was a vouchure for 6 people so tried quite a few dishes. Many dishes tasted as though they had been stuffed with the sort of pickled vegetables you can get from a jar. Other dishes were sitting on this same vegetable mix. There were a number of dishes we enjoyed – the garlic prawns were very yummy (8 prawns between 6), moreton bay bug / lobster was tasty (1 between 6, so a very small taste), calamari was good and meat balls were ok. On the less enjoyable side – the spring roll (1 between 6) was soggy and tasted as though it was stuffed with pickled vegetables, the chicken dumplings tasted like commercial chicken stuffed tortellini pasta (1 piece per person) and the garlic bread tasted as though it had been heated in the microwave. All of the above dishes tasted as though they had been heated in the microwave. We had a bottle of wine which was fine. We saw only one lady working here and she was a bit of a minimalist.
My husband and I went to Buena Suerte tapas last night. We were a little unsure what to expect when we walked in as the restaurant was empty. But it ended up being one of my best restaurant experiences of late. The food and sangria were amazing. I only hope that more people catch on because the restaurant has a lovely feel… It certainly deserves to be busier than what it was.
Terrible doesn’t even begin to describe our experience. We arrived for a birthday, told that to keep the cake in the back and have it brought out would cost $5 a head!At first we were understanding and continued with our night, to then find our plates and cutlery still covered in leftover from their previous guests. We were hoping that maybe the food would be ok, unfortunately it was a big let down, everything tasted like it was microwaved and every dish from seafood to meats, all of it was drenched in salt and pesto sauce. The only good thing I can say about the food, is that it was better than the service, the lady serving would gesture constantly at every order and refuse to take orders in some cases, she spent most of her time watching movies on her laptop, and was rude in every possible way. Also the holes all over the walls and poor atmosphereI wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
