A homely neighbourhood cafe with friendly staff and delicious looking baked goods. Can recommend both the savoury and sweet muffins – the corn, tomato and cheese muffin was dense and filling and the berry muffin was sweet and tart.
I LOVE this place! The food is so delicious, especially the quiche and devil’s food cupcake (so light and good frosting). Love the usage of brie in the ham & cheese croissant. The pear juice is so tasty and tastes just of pear (instead of added flavours). The savoury brunch tarts vary by day and are delicious too (sweet potato and caramelised onion, nuff said). The staff are so friendly too — it gives this café a homely “neighbourly” feel, which is further emphasised by its decor and name.My friend and I love to come here for breakfast when we come to Stanmore.
