Massaya Restaurant offers authentic Lebanese food as well as modern Middle Eastern and Western dishes. Located in Strathfield in the west of Sydney, it’s only about 30 mins drive from the central CBD. Massaya Restaurant occupies a large space that is well suited and capable for functions, events and large family get togethers, it also caters to smaller dining groups. The main dining area is quite large, fit with a stage, chandelier, marble floors and a fully stocked bar. There is also a casual dining space in the next room, with booth style seating, this is also an area to enjoy some shisha and dessert.
Finding a beautiful restaurant with both an extensive middle eastern menu as well as a western menu sounds almost too good to be true! Although, that is exactly what Massaya in Strathfield offers its guests. We haven’t even mentioned the exceptional friendly staff and the outdoor shisha area. We were welcomed with two cocktails that were specially chosen for us. We had a Blue Passion cocktail and a Coco Pina. Both perfect summer drinks.
Mr Weekend Food Escapes has driven past Massaya a number of times but has yet to dine there. On a quiet Saturday, we head there for lunch and while I am mildly distracted by all the fast food that surrounds the Massaya restaurant, I am looking for a nicer experience this Saturday. Massaya is part Modern Australian in menu and part Lebanese cuisine.
