+3 standard points for food+1 great cake (always quite fresh)4 = A good place to make part of your regular run.Noise level: normal to loud.Recommended:Iced chocolateMatcha crepe cakeCheesecakeTypical coffee / cake, though I find their cakes tend to be better than others in the area. Staff are quite friendly. The speaker for their music is pretty nice. Comfy chairs too.
The atmosphere of the cafe is amazing, you always feel good being in there. The coffee is really good too and the barista very nice and polite. They first forgot to put my order through so we waited 20 min. And then I asked where my food was and they told me the truth and said they forgot to put it through. I do understand that, we are humans, we all make mistakes. There was 6 young chefs in the kitchen and after 20 more minutes I got my burger with the bun all burnt and dry. This cafe used to be really good. Change your head chef or you will keep losing customers. I came back for a vegetarian big breakfast and my halloumi wasn’t cooked, no seasoning on anything, my egg was uncooked. Wake up chefs!
Nice place to study and grab a coffee/cake if you enjoy studying at cafes (only negative is they dont have wifi and the tables are quite small). The blueberry cheesecake (around $8 from memory) was nice but was slightly too sweet for me personally. The almond croissant ($4.95) is quite average and the shakshouka was good but just wished they gave more pieces of sourdough.
