I’ve never met a staff member there that was good at English so just to make sure i order the correct thing, I just point at what I wantThey look so stressed trying to understand English I feel bad for themI’ve never experienced this outlet being busy before, so I usually do a lot of my studying here since it’s so peaceful and the smell of coffee is very calming to meService is also very fast compared to other Gloria jeans outlets I’ve been too

A branch of Gloria Jean’s Coffee near Strathfield Station. I visited this shop because that day I was quite tired and just felt like having a cup of coffee. The shop is popular and facilities like chairs and tables look not so bright.Small cup of #Cappuccino# for $3.8. Just so so.But Free Wi-Fi is one of the reasons I frequent this coffee shop.

Gave us off cheese cake whichClearly had mould on it. Rude manager/barista. Tasted the cake and argued it’s not off. Such a shame a lot of people from our office went here almost every morning. I’ll make sure no one from our office goes there anymore! Poor service!

Strathfield is packed with many different cafes and GJ is probably the most popular one as is the best.In addition, I think that that the drinks and desserts are a bit pricey imo for the taste and value but the best thing about this place is the spacious seating, air conditioning, and free wi-fi. It’s really good for some reading and studying.

I purchased a Groupon voucher ($10 for 2 coffee and 2 snacks) and tried to use it on Sunday 12th June around 11:30 am. When I gave the voucher upon ordering, the staff (who looked like a manager/supervisor as she was wearing different coloured shirt) told me to wait 10-15 mins as they were ‘busy’ and didn’t take my order. I wanted to leave as I was angry but as the voucher was expiring in a few days, I didn’t. There was only 1 other customer behind me so I let her go first. Then that staff who told me they were ‘busy’ left with her jacket on (probably on her lunch break and didn’t return for the next 15 mins while I was there). So I went back to the counter and asked if I could place my order so another staff took my order. I had to actually wait for about 10 mins to pick up my coffees as I think they have prioritize the order from walk-in customers as people who ordered after me got their drinks before mine.I have to say this was a very unpleasant experience and treating people with vouchers in this manner is unacceptable. If they can’t handle the busyness, Strathfield store should not have advertised the vouchers (as far as I could see, I didn’t think it was busy nor crowed). Otherwise, staff should be trained to be more efficient or put more staff on shift. I was actually in a rush too where my husband was waiting for me in the loading zone and taking 15 mins to takeaway 2 coffees is ridiculous.

Used my Grupon voucher:) Came here during the lunch time on weekdays.$10 for two, you are able to choose small size of regular coffee(you’ll be charged if you want soy/chocolate etc) and muffin, banana bread or sandwiches.(no cakes)I’ve been to the one on Townhall George street as Grupon too and I prefer that one than strathfield as I could choose any coffee, any size and cake too. It’s located infront of strathfield station, good location. Not busy, very quiet so good place to chill and relax.I had chicken sandwiches toasted which was okay.Everything is average. instagram.com

Been there many times. Tried the Mudslide Mocha always, with less ice and without cream. The taste is too good. The ambience is also nice. A bit expensive though.
