You can never go wrong with Jang Ta Bal. Received the warmest hospitality by the manger and the workers as they greeted myself and some friends upon arrival. As we didnt know what to choose, the manager helped us by recommendations and asked what we do and do not like. Onto the food, absolutely amazing! The meat were fresh and of high quality and the sides were even better!

Thanks for the meal!Ordered mixed BBQ set and extra premium wagyu.Delicous stand out BBQ. From the moment you step in you feel transported to Korea. Loved all the meats particular the wagyu which was fatty juicy and melt in your mouth. Service was prompt and efficient and grill were changed very regularly. Not the best ventilation as it can get quite smokey but that adds to the vibe of this restaurant.
This place deserves a 10 out of 5! Definitely worthwhile the 2 hours waiting. We had the wagyu set and it was out of the world!! Friendly staff with prompt service. But still need to expect a long queue!
After watching a movie in Town Hall, we decided to hit up this KBBQ located a couple minutes walk from the train station in Strathfield. Arriving here at roughly 6:30pm on a Wednesday night, the restaurant was already half occupied but luckily we didnt have to wait and was seated immediately because about an hour later when our food was served, the tables were full already. We ordered the BBQ Set which included marinated beef ribs, wagyu intercostal and wagyu scotch fillet ($69), a side of pork belly ($20), egg soup ($10) and the cold noodles served in soup with chilli paste sauce ($13) with the complimentary standard Korean side dishes (potato, pickles and kimchi).Pricing wise, not the most cost effective KBBQ around in the area but the cuts of meat were decently sized and we were very satiated afterwards. Egg soup could be passed if there were other options you wanted to try from the menu but the cold noodles is recommended because the tart flavour and the coldness breaks through the heat of the meat.Wait staff were abundant in numbers but the service was still lacking because we found ourselves having to always wait for quite some time/other nearby customers alerting them before we had their attention. Overall, still a good KBBQ experience but will probably try another restaurant in the future.
Just tried out this busy BBQ restaurant today. It did not take long for us to get a table, waited for around 10 mins at 6pm.The most important part is, meat were of great quality. Side dishes were good as well. The peach Makgeoli (not sure if I spelled right) tastes wonderful and we easily finished the whole bottle lol.Would definitely come back.
