Ona, Marrickville 5/5Gorgeous, contemporary cafe. Flawless coffee. Professional and attentive staff that obviously take great pride in their beans, and I was very happy with the recommendation of The Founder – caramel, fruity and smooth. After spotting rhubarb, I also couldnt resist ordering the porridge with spiced pear, rhubarb, pomegranate, strawberry and honey and it was absolutely delicious. The complimentary sparkling water is a nice touch.
I remember coming here for the first time to get breakfast and choosing the eggs benedict. *Keep in mind this was my first eggs bene..EVER* I became an instant fan, and kept coming back for more. This was until i got to sample on this classic dish at many other breakfast joints. After this, the cafe standard had become very average. I find that it a neat cafe spot for a quick solo brekkie. However, poor in terms of setting. No a very good location or size for a catch up with friends.
