As an Inner Westie (through & through) I’m totally disappointed in myself for not knowing Burgers on Broadway were actually not located in Broadway… but in Summer Hill and other various locations! Appearance wise, the store could do with some revamping and may be a tad off putting to a new customer like myself (think milkbar). But yknow what they say about judging a book by its cover… DON’T DO IT! This burger joint exceeded my expectations and more – the burgers were juicy (and photogenic), the chicken wings were crunchy AF finger licking goodness and service was super quick! Thank you to the awesome team behind Burgers on Broadway for the invite and satisfying my burger cravings with the best of the best!
Don’t ever order from here! Place is shit! Have ordered 5 times now and each time there is always something missing. When you call to tell them they just disagree with you and don’t want to help at all! Really shit service! Will never order from here again and I suggest no1 else does either! They will try rip u off by keeping u your money and only send you half your food! I guess this must be the only way for them to stay in business! The worst experience I have ever encountered! STAY AWAY THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!If I can give a negative rating I would!
Got here at 7:45, only 45 minutes before it closes on a Sunday. Many people came late to get takeaway as we sat until it closed. Got the haloumi burger, it was very tasty and intact as i ate the burger. Haloumi was thick and soft, not dry so it wasn’t over cooked. It wasn’t very salty though, so it doesn’t taste like the usual haloumi….Cheap burgers with wide range of choices (many options for beef and chicken), chips are crispy. Happy with the experience overall.
These are some of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Ok i have a large appetite and needed 2 to fill me up, but my wife and friends were more than satisfied. Nice ambience, friendly service, the price is decent too, it’s only really a few dollars more than a maccas meal and 10x nicer. I’m already a repeat customer
Ordered the Kentucky on my way through, my second visit to BoB so I wanted to try the chicken. It was actually great. Reminded me of a better McChicken burger. The ‘schnitzel’ is more like a lightly coated fried chicken batter and is real meat not some pattie. Fresh lettuce and a good amount of aioli and peri peri rounded out the experience
Not worth travelling out for but if youre in the area, give them a go. They have really nice, hardworking staff and youll get a pretty cheap meal.Famous was overall not that impressive as it was super greasy and did not have enough of the special sauce, you can pretty much taste the cheese mostly. The burgers are small in general, but my veggie burger was pretty decent. It was definitely basic and possibly easy to recreate at home, but taste wise it was enjoyable and didnt feel unhealthy. Fries were very average though and way too much salt added.
Probably one of the worst burgers I’ve eaten. There is no memorable redeeming element about this joint. Pattie is limp and tasteless, the sauce is bland (even a simple mustard trumps their ‘special’ sauce), bun is doughy and bland. Even had a few burgers (with company) so it wasn’t just a bad selection thing. A microwave chicken hero from BP (do they still have them) is a better bet. Don’t waste your burger date at Broadway.
