Amazing food and coffee – it was very hard to choose something from the menu with the different range of dishes – but I cant say the same about the service. I easily wouldve rated Plunge No. 46 a 5/5 if the service wasnt so terrible. Reading through the other reviews this seems to be a running theme and depends on what day you go.

Nice Mediterranean inspired cafe with great Chef Special breakfast and lunch menu. Amazing coffee from alchemy brew. However the service can be a little inconsistent at times and I feel some menu items a little overpriced. Apart from that its a nice cozy cafe joint for the locals.

Every time I go to Plunge, my satisfaction level is different. Overall I like this cafe but its not my first choice. Its not a big cafe. It has cozy & nice atmosphere. We ordered Ricotta pancake and mashed avocado on toast. I was slightly disappointed with the pancake. There were three small thick pancakes with strawberries & honeycombs with maple syrup. A bit plain and no flavour or surprise.Need something like cream or yogurt or stewed fruits, etc. I will not order it again. The avocado on toast was ok. It was tasty but nothing special and the portion was small. By the way, I had pea pancake last time and it was freshly prepared and delicious. My friends ordered French toast and it looked great and the tastes was nice.

Bathed in sunshine, the umbrella and tree canopy shaded courtyard out the back is a very comfortable spot to enjoy a magazine and Alchemy Coffee. If in need of further nourishment, there’s a nice selection of meals, bites and in-betweens. The chicken, corn and spinach toastie really hit the spot with an unidentifiable middle eastern cheese (in the words of the waiters!) providing the requisite ooze.

Good little neighbourhood spot with plenty of space. Feels like one big open area for the whole place which gives it a nice atmosphere. The coffee is very good and the toasties are delicious, especially the pulled pork one.

I drove through this area, saw this cool spot, and decided stop here for a quick brunch. The pea pancakes are absolutely delicious, well balanced seasoning, good portion of foods. The street view is remarkable, can see two very beautiful trees, nice relaxing background music, gonna come back again for sure with my friends for a chilling afternoon

Fantastic, friendly service, food cooked extremely well and standard sydney cafe brunch pricing. Loved their ricotta pancakes – stack of 3: crunchy on outside, right balance of smooth ricotta and fluffiness on the inside. Tasty pulled pork jaffle too. Good coffee (by Coffee Alchemy). Will be back!
