Lovely place with relaxing atmosphere and music, providing attentive service. I was quite put off by a previous review mentioning loud reverberating noise due to hard surfaces. Still we walked past on a Friday night and we found this was not the case. We went in and ordered a goat curry Thalli and a Nepalese chicken curry. Both meals came with carefully prepared accompaniments and were extremely tasty, not at all bland as described also in a previous review. Tasty garlic naan bread too. Not sure if the place is BYO but the wine on offer was very decent. We’ll come back!

I was introduced to The Hungry Eye by a bunch of girlfriends – and we LOVED IT! We’ve brought friends here and they too have been VERY IMPRESSED with the amazing flavours and fresh ingredients. We’ve had the Seafood BBQ platter than came with prawns, calamari, barramundi and scallops, The Garlic prawns are also AMAZING!As far as the curries go, PLEASE don’t go past the Goat Curry and Prawns Marsala – YUMM!! On our last visit, we tried the Fish curry (with Barramundi) I haven’t had a better fish curry yet! We’ve also ordered and really enjoyed their Eggplant and Fetta Curry – a terrific vegetarian option!TO finish up, we had their Ice Creams, but be warned they’re HUGE servings!!AND they make a terrific Marsala Chai!Seriously order any of these meals, and you won’t be sorry!(Apologies for the poor photos, but I had some serious eating to get on with! 😉

When we had dinner there first time, this place had just opened. The staff were friendly, helpful and they wanted to engage with the customers whenever they could. It’s an interesting one. Food was fresh and good but none of the dishes surprised me or made me want to try more. It’s nice but ordinary food. That’s it. I won’t go back again.

A nice little neighborhood find. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered, but the standouts were the goat curry and the fish curry. The momo were also very tasty.

Came here with some friends after s recommendation. Had a serve of the chicken momos which were nice, and the goats curry which was good, but the royal paneer masala was our favourite. The chai was lovely as well.
