Came here because my friend bought a Groupon for 4 people. It allowed us to pick 4 entree, 4 main and 4 dessert. The voucher started a maximum value of entree, main and dessert that we could pick and we initially browsed and realised it would limit us to pretty much vegetarian dishes only. We asked if we could pay extra for the other dishes and at this stage the lady explained the pricing limit on the voucher didn’t apply anymore and we had a much larger range of dishes to choose from. For entrees we had the onion bhaji, the samosa chaat, the lamb seekh and the tikka chicken. The onion bajhi to me was too crunchy and was mostly batter and little quantity of onion. The samosa chaat was different to what we thought a samosa was and seemed to be more like an Indian version of nachos. The flavors of it was pretty good. The lamb seekah is a bit spicy and you’d need to eat it with the cooling sauce that accompanied it. The tikka chicken was well cooked and well liked by all.We then had four mains. The butter chicken was average. The mango chicken was too sweet for me personal liking. The goat korma was really delicious and highly recommended. The palak paneer was pretty good but a bit more spicy than versions I’ve had elsewhere. Their naan bread is so good, I’d definitely recommend this over rice. For dessert we tried the gulab jamon and the kulfi which came in pistachio and mango. I’m not a huge fan of Indian desserts in general so it’s hard for me to comment fairly. The gulab was like ones I’ve had pretty and is good despite it being overly sweet as per usual. The kulfi was icy and I do not recommend it.Overall very filling and great value meal thanks to Groupon. We probably only ate half of the food we were given and sadly they did not allow us to takeaway. The restaurant is pretty much empty when we went at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. Despite this, our food was well cooked.

Ok eatery right on Elizabeth st which is just a short stroll from Central Station. Food is reasonably priced (not cheap just ok). Taste varies on what you order. Had the Chicken Kadai and was told it would be spicy but was really watery and had only 3 pieces of chicken in it. Will give it the benefit of doubt and order from the menu instead of the baine marie next time.Had the Goat Biryani – it was awesome!

One of my friends took me to this place as I craving for chicken biryani. We asked the chef to make it really spicy. Maybe the chef did not understand us and mixed dried red chillies in the biryani which made it taste really bad. Apart from that there was nothing special about the biryani. It felt like I was eating plain rice with dry chicken pieces. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.Food quality 1/5Food taste 1/5Ambience 1/5Repeatable Big No

Very bad service for home delivery, I ordered food from this restaurant for 30$ and ended up paying 45$.I clearly asked the person while placing order to bring proper bill also. But he dint bring up any bill, then we clearly told the delivery guy that we won’t pay without bill, so he provided a simple note without any ABN number and hotel name. Later when we asked for proper bill he said that he will create bill of 45$ (15$ extra than the amount ordered), which is penalty for his multiple trips(which we should pay according to him). When i denied paying he started using abusive words. We didn’t want to get into all this cheap stuff, so we simply paid back the whole 45$ amount. But in summary the owner is mentally ill, he looses his temper while talking on phone. He also asked my card detail (card number, CVV number), when i denied to give, then also he started cursing me. Will not recommend to anyone to go and have bad impression of INDIA. Shame on you guys.
