A wait of 40mins for basic breakfast, seems they forgot the order. No apology. Overpriced basic grub, I had a avocado & poached egg. Supposed to have been on sourdough but was served seeded toast. Avoid unless desperate. Disappointed.
Visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon, served without smiles in a venue that lacks the charm and warmth of the Ampersand in Paddington. Oh well, we tried; it was worth it for the walk along Crown but we won’t be back.
Staff were well meaning but useless. No one there and waited 45 minutes for breakfast so very slow. Cold plates, no love. Won’t be back. Rustic Pearl next door is excellent.
