I’ve gone past Bar Cleveland quite a lot over the years and thought it had always looked a little shady. I now come here for steak night pretty regularly and on first visit i was quite impressed. Whilst it is a bare-bones cheap-and-cheerful type establishment, it ticks the boxes. $14 for steak and it’s is usually pretty consistent. Whilst the ‘plate’ its served on is a little questionable its really good value. The peppercorn sauce has depth and real peppercorns, and steak is usually cooked as requested.A quiet, low key, cosy venue perfect for mid week. crumbs-au.com
