I walked into this cafe by total chance one day, and I’m so glad I did! The affordable yet delicious food and coffee is always a pleasure to have — and the staff there are wonderful to be around! They’re always friendly, comfortable to be around, and very accommodating. Seeing these folks during my weekdays was always a delight. Will miss this small but extraordinary cafe when I leave my study abroad.

I discovered this cafe/restaurant on the first day of my 2 week visit to Sydney and I have eaten there every day so far. The staff are delightful but the highlight is the food. Ive had the lean lamb salad twice now because it is so delicious. The portions are big as well and $10.50 for a big salad seems like great value to me. They also made a small meat platter for me when I wasn’t very hungry and it was perfect. The outside seating supplies shade when needed and has a welcoming feel. I will be back (many times).

How can such coffee shop exists when its staff don’t even know how to cook an scrambled egg? Please avoid this shop as everything it gave me is coloured in black

Tucked in between two large buildings is a small cafe with umbrella-ed tables outside (in addition to indoor seating arrangements). And they serve the best tuna and basil sandwich. I never knew that tuna and basil gel so perfectly together. Their iced coffee went hand in hand with the sandwich on a hot summer afternoon. The staff were extremely friendly and helped sort our orders with ease.

Indifferent service but real tea. Large and surprisingly quiet outdoor area, with lovely views of overcrowded trains.
