This is drinks review only: ordered pineapple frappe, flat white and capuccino. Frappe was really terrible. It was foamy and tasted too earthy i think they dont know how to make frappe. Both coffee were pretty weak and nothing special. Service was friendly tho. goodtasteguide.blogspot.com
Not a eye-catchy place compared to the big noisy pizza restaurant next to it, but cossie really has a character to lead you in if you want a nice and peaceful dinner. There’s only one staff in store today but he managed very well. Nicely cooked pork chops and tasted rice with bread and butter as starter. Will come back again if i have no clue on crowd street.
Absolutely bloody fantastic. Chicken risotto is so hek. Bae was Denzel frothington over her potato gnocchi but aye. Defs hittin this place up aganskies.
Have not been here for a while for dinner. They currently have a winter special for dinner. Either 2 courses ($30.00) or 3 courses ($36.00) both appeared to include coffee/tea.I started with garlic bread then I had the scotch fillet. Asked for medium but it was slightly more than medium. The potatoes were done to perfection. I ended with the sticky date pudding with butterscotch (rather runny) sauce. During the meal I had a pleasant glass of Merlot and finished with coffee.Turns out that a starter of garlic bread is not classed as a course and is also turned out that the coffee/tea was only included in the $36 special.Suffice it to say I ended up paying more than what the 3 course special with wine. I know it was only a matter of $3 but it is the principle of the matter. If you are going to have specials then show the exceptions and done change the special when someone is going to pay.So, if you are going to dine here be warning to check what is actually included in the special.
I haven’t been to this cafe in years and after the recent visit, the cafe hadn’t changed much but had new staff who were friendly. I stuck with the dish I always get when I’m here which is the egg Benedict with smoked salmon and chai latte. As much as I want to end my meal on a sweet note, there is nothing on their desserts options that appeal to me.
Unpretentious and humble atmosphere which is refreshing for this area. Good food and friendly service. Upstairs veranda is usually unoccupied and great for a coffee in the morning. Will be coming back again and again
Brekkie Delight. Best breakfast I’ve ever had in Sydney! 2 poached eggs on Turkish toast, herb yoghurt, warm spiced tomato & basil, avocado & 2 potato cakes!
