Actual rating: 3.5Frothy is a spacious corner cafe on Devonshire Street, just a few steps up from Devon Cafe. I had the smashed avocado with poached eggs, rocket and pesto on dark rye (swapped with sourdough). Though it was basic, this dish hit the spot. Special mention goes to the eggs which were perfectly poached. My friend also liked her breakfast burger that had hashbrowns and a fried egg. My skim cap was excellent and we had friendly service. Frothy might not have the fancy, Insta-worthy menu that Devon has but what it does, it does well: good coffee, solid cafe food with several bagel variations, welcoming service, convenient location and a relaxed vibe. Also, no queues.
