A very disappointing experience here at MV Bistro. Not sure if I just came at a bad time or if its actually this bad in general. Came here with a groupon and got the option of 2 entrees, 2 mains and Nutella donuts for dessert. Everything in general was poorly cooked. We got the popcorn prawns, magic mushrooms, wild boar, braised pork and Nutella donuts. Nothing stood out and the most edible meal was the mushrooms. These were just sauted and I did like the variety of mushrooms selected. The popcorn prawns were very plain and drenched in pepper. I wasnt really a fan.The wild boar tasted really bad. It had a very off putting after taste (almost like wet dog) and the pasta was slightly under cooked. The braised pork was also hard to finish. Very chewy, overcooked, no flavour and the salad was also tasteless. Overall, Ive given the restaurant a 2 as the ambience was nice and service was also ok. Its a shame the food did not complement the rest of the restaurant.
