Cute cafe in Surry Hills. I came here on recommendation from a food blogger. I had the black sticky rice with coconut tapioca, brulee banana, passionfruit and ube ice cream. It was delicious, not too sweet, visually stunning, nice balance of flavours and textures. Highly recommended.
Another great cafe in Surry Hills. Paddock is unassuming from the outside, pretty relax feels. The seatings are a bit cramped together, the service a little slow, but that hardly seems to bother anyone. The food are very Insta worthy, my matcha French Toast looks like a little garden on a plate. It tasted pretty good too, not overly sweet, love the whipped peanut butter. The berry mojito cocktail was great for a hot summer day. Lovely brunch place.
We had a really lovely experience at Paddock, with lovely seating, interior decorations, wait staff and of course great food! Personally we really liked the squid ink risotto and though the pancakes were really pretty, it was quite dense to eat in the morning. In saying so, this place is still highly regarded by us and is definitely the place to go for an instagrammable photo with accomodating waiters who bring out flowers to lay out on the table for the perfect picture!
Looking for a nice/relatively healthy breakfast. Im glad I tried the Paddock on Crown. I had the kale salad with salmon belly. I love everything in the bowl. But I must admit the fact that they used salmon belly (lots of fat) makes it a bit more fishy rather than using the meaty parts. But nevertheless it was delicious and very filling.
Cute little cafe in Surry Hills – not too hard to find. They offer a decent range of cafe food. I couldnt decide between the match french toast or the pancakes. Got the pancakes in the end and it was actually quite tasty. Not too sweet and the fruits tasted fresh. The syrup added a nice taste to the pancakes as well as the ube ice cream. The grilled salmon salad actually tasted really good. The salmon was abit salty which blended out well with the salad. The cafe was quite busy, with only one person handling payments, directing customers to seats and taking orders – which meant it took quite awhile for them to take our order, but the food preparation didnt take long. The prices are reasonable for cafe food. Service was friendly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
I visited this lovely cafe for lunch. I really wanted to try the fluffy pancakes but they were unfortunately sold out. I tried their special vongole angel hair pasta which was quite nice with a generous amount of clams. The coffee was also quite good. Overall, Im happy to come back to try their other dishes and get there earlier too for the pancakes!
