A small and worn out looking place with limited seating. They have lunch and dinner specials which are reasonable. My fianc liked her Tom yum soup while my Chinese roast pork chill jam rice was ok. It’s not often you get Chinese roast pork instead of pork in your menu but it’s a nice substitute. Food came out at a reasonable rate,it’s your average Thai place
Tiny little place right near the hotel I was staying in for a weekend. $13 for lunch special of a pretty big plate of cashew noodles with crispy skin pork belly and a can of drink. So small you are maybe a metre or two away from the cook and you get to see him at work. If you’re looking for fancy you’ll be disappointed, but if you want value this is a great place.
The massaman beef curry is arguably the best dish on a limited menu that covers the main Thai staples and a few working men dishes. Cheap lunch specials, v. big takeaway serves and always the same friendly, hard-working couple running it. The building it’s in is one of the most squalid in Surry Hills but there is a quaint, Bangkok-esque charm about the cozy little restaurant.
Tiny, grotty, but good food. Opposite Central railway. Food was good, but the place was grotty.
Great food. lunch special $7.90. highly recommend to all.
Great Thai food at a great price! I’ve been so dissatisfied lately with Thai places in the CBD, but this one definitely has restored my faith!!
Early days, was not nice at all, but I’m prepared to give it another go when they are more established. They only had stir fry and noodle dishes available, both flavourless and dry
