We have been here twice, once in downstairs bar and another time upstairs terrace. The old stained carpet, the pokies, the miserable looking bar area where VB, XXXX Gold, Tooheys New were served didn’t draw much resembrance to rest of Surry Hills. We only came in to change scenery but left in a haste after one drink. It was a dive bar and no reason to go back ever again. thernbdiary.com
Worst service ever. We were there for a birthday few weeks ago and as soon as we arrived, one of the waitress started to yell very rudely at us because we were apparently in the walkway whereas we didn’t know. She said it was the fifth time she was telling us and next time we get kicked out. But we just got there… So of course, we stepped on the side. But then again few minutes later she started yelling very loud for no reason and kicked all the birthday guests (30 people) threatening to call the police. We just got our drinks and didn’t even had the time to enjoy it. We tried to speak to the manager who didn’t even listen to us. That’s really a shame because we were having a nice birthday and some rude waitress wasted it for no reason.
