Situated where Cafe Calypso stood for a good 20 years (I know because I used to go there in 1995 and it was still there a year ago) but serving up much improved coffee. I have had a couple of piccolos here and I have enjoyed them. Popped in for lunch on Friday with my Mum and I got the club sandwich on Turkish with chips. Pretty decent and the chips were quite good. I just wish they served it on a plate. I detest wooden boards unless its for a cheese/meat platter. I requested a plate because once I cut into that perfect egg yolk, as expected it went everywhere. Mum had the steak sandwich cooked rare and it was done quite well.
