Very busy and crowded, but the vibe is fun. Its pretty expressive, the drinks arent too bad, although my Chandon tasted a bit like passion pop. We ordered a margarita pizza and it was pretty average. Wouldnt really call it a pizza – it was pretty sloppy and way too thin. Had to go to another fine dining establishment (Mr Crackles) to fill my poor empty belly. Overall average.
The beresford hotel is such a great place if you feel like an upbeat dinner! We went there on a Sunday night where the tunes were on point, cocktails were delicious and food was simply stunning. The wood fired pizza were a personal favourites. I highly recommend the place for the delicious food, drinks and atmosphere.
Beresford Sundays for many years was the weekly ‘go-to’ event for LGBTI Sydney with good food & snappy bar service. Now it’s been taken over by hen parties & an otherwise incredibly unappealing crowd. Everywhere has it LGBTI moment I guess & the Beresford had its share for longer than most. Unfortunately even on Sundays the Beresford has now become just another unremarkable hen-party hang-out cementing it’s weekday reputation as ‘The Dry-Cleaners’ (aka a good place to pick up a suit on a Friday night).
