The Factory Grind offers a Turkish spin on classic breakfast dishes! Big Factory – Bacon, Haloumi, Cumin Tomatoes , Sauted Mushrooms , Veal Sucuk, Homemade Potato Barley Hash, Toast, Two Eggs. My partner and I really loved this dish and would recommend it!Kofte Burger – Lamb kofte in a charcoal bun with cheese, aioli and chutney with sweet potato chips. I adore the chutney, its got a thick texture like tomato pasta sauce and it goes perfectly with the lamb patty. The chips were also cooked perfectly! My partner also ordered the coffee and it wasnt made right in the beginning and the barista offered another one which was very nice of them .Customer service and food is great! The perfect brunch!
Usually when a cafe claims that they have the best coffee in Sydney, I am a bit sceptical. While I cant claim that the coffee at the Factory Grind was the best coffee I have ever had in Sydney, I can claim that it is one of the best. The lamb kofta burger was delicious! Would definitely recommend this brunch spot.
For once, we not only ordered coffee (which we like there a lot) but also decided to try the brunch options. Well, we’ve missed out a lot before! We loved our Turkish-inspired meals: the ilbir (ottoman poached) and the Quite Vegan. The only small bug was coming from the service that day, which was not super efficient, otherwise great!
Quite cosy place in Surry Hills with a chill ambiance. Coffee was smooth and strong, just how I like it. Menu is creative and Turkish inspired. Ottoman eggs were delicious, lovely balance of tomato and labne (yogurt). The Turkish pastry with sausage and cheese was decadently delicious!
Modern Turkish food served in a very warm setting with great staff attending to your needs promptly ticks all the boxes. Food was fantastic and full of flavor and love
Cute cafe churning out a breakfast and lunch menu with a turkish spin.Loving the Turkish Coffee and Batch Brew on Moccamaster with single origin beans. Turkish coffee is strong however it doesn’t have that after taste like espresso has. Highly enjoyed. Comes with turkish delight. If you’re looking for a place for breakfast and you’re sick of all the standard cafes, try this one out. I had a Factory Benedict here with turkish sausage (full of spice) on arepas (like polenta) with poached eggs and hollandise. I’ve never had a dish like this before. It was interesting and I quite enjoyed it. Also had their shaksuka which is loaded with veggies! They have an extensive menu so there’s something for everyone. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Sit outside for some sun or feel the vibes inside.Polished off brekky with kanafeh, a sweet dish (dessert made with thin noodle-like pastry).I need to go back for their chai and hot chocs!
