Very smooth coffee from Two Skinny Pickles this morning! Love the quality service and the cute look of this hole in the wall. Plenty of options for food, especially those with food intolerances which is always a plus! Coffee was served with a smile and very creamy, however, I tend to like my coffee with more of a kick!
$3.50 for piccolo, that is powered by 5 senses coffee beans.Coffee is mild, not strong enough for me, but saying this, coffee isnt bad at all.I guess you know what you expect when you gettin this Melbourne base coffee beans.
I grabbed my coffee here this morning. The servicve was excellent, really friendly and efficient. My strong skinny latte was excellent. It was strong, it had good flavour and and good amount of froth, yummmm haha … what a perfect start to the day! I was so impressed that I went back for another coffee, this time a piccolo latte which was served by another barista and it wasn’t quite as good, it just tasted a bit watery, otherwise I would have given this place a 5/5. The food looked great, lots of excellent organic food for breakfast and lunch but I had my eye on something else for an early brunch in my next review. And the previous review by Z is correct. There is no seating as this is a true hole in the wall, but one defintely worth visiting in my opinion ๐
The nicest guys run this! Also great how they knock off 50 cents if you bring a keep cup. The brownie sandwich with salted caramel is a stand-out. Also their cheese toasties – so tasty. They put so much thought into the food, I love coming here to get takeaway meals and coffee (it is a hole in the wall with no seating!)
Hole in the wall coffee / food spot opposite the busy section of Elizabeth Street opposite Central Station; I have been meaning to sample their wares for some time so was delighted to finally try out one of the attractive-looking sandwiches on display in the small counter.I plumped for a Chicken Roll which consisted of roasted chicken served in a mixture of mayonnaise, chives and gruyere cheese on a white bun. At $10 it is definitely at the top end of the sandwich market price-wise but I have to say it was worth every cent. The bread was soft, fluffy and dusted with flour and the chicken mixture was creamy without being too rich and allowed the nutty gruyere flavour to come through.TSP also serve a selection of salads that changes by the day and have a good beverage list although I didnt try on this occasion. thernbdiary.com
The coffee is good here at this little coffee shop near Central station. What blew me away was the croissant. It wasn’t because it was organic, but it was perfectly baked and the pastry was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. What like to get this again
