Salmon was fresh, green tea delightful and the selection wise and varied. However, and I find this to be a common criticism of mine of sushi trains, less popular items (especially those containing rice) should be given a limited time in the train and then removed to avoid lowering the overall experience and also risking making someone ill. For me, Flying Sushi is just a pass..
I usually go there for lunch. The seafood udon is authentic and tastes good, but a bit salty. Sometimes the sashimi is not that fresh and the deep fried food dishes are getting cold.
I am surprised at how good this place is. I was not expecting much from a sushi joint located at Sydney Olympic Park – but I was pleasantly surprised.The Miso soup is delicious, as was the edamame beans. The salmon avocado, salmon sashimi and Sushi rolls were really good.The decor and ambience isnt its strong point, but the food and service was a delight.
What I like about this place is that they do make nice sushi and offer free delivery when the order is over $35. My favourite is grilled scallops
