This brand new 678 Korean BBQ is just a short walk away from Chinatown. While the place is smaller, and so it has less noise and people (don’t you love a relaxing atmosphere when you eat?), I would prefer going to 678 in Haymarket. There is no difference in the meat quality, but the side dishes definitely are better at the original store.Being located among Chinese restaurants, 678 Chinatown adapts to the duo BBQ & hotpot concept. Meat is grilled on top of the plates, and at the same time, the egg is steamed in the surrounding ring. The problem with the egg is, it can be overcooked and burnt. So instead of getting free steamed egg in the ceramic bowl, now I need to hurry up and scoop it outside of the ring.
Dinner with friends for korean bbq.Very pack, luckily we already booked table.Place is huge, but the table a bit too small and close each other. Not much variety, the beef and tongue excellent.Price average and adfordable.I was given steamed egg for free Worth to try.
