This is one of the better pubs in the CBD office district, not surprisingly managed by Merivale as well. If you can’t find seating downstairs, there are plenty more space upstairs. It is a bit dark and dingy inside, not helped by the dark timber interior. It feels English and therefore good for a rainy days. A good selection of tap and bottled beers, but the wine list is a bit limited. Overall it is a decent pub in the city for a quick after work or lunch time drink. thernbdiary.com
Its been a while from this visit, but have to add a review about this place. Haven’t been here for a long time – hopefully it’s still there hahaa!! Food was devent good normal pub food – had snitzel – same you get every were. But for this place… i would almost give points of the look and feel. I think we don’t have enough places like this in Sydney. Please give a visit to this little getaway from CBD’s hectic life.
