Really happy with my buffet breakfast experience here. Paid just under 40 bucks and wouldn’t mind paying it again. They had a really good spread of the usual hot breakfast options which included asian options too. I liked their congee, it was pretty good compared to other congees offered for breakfast. Continental breakfast options were available too. If you wanted instant fresh pancakes there was a pancake machine good to go. I also enjoyed a large assortment of bread types and Danish pastries. The stand out would be their fresh juice station where you can DIY fruit juice. As a fan of veg juice I would have liked to see more than just celery sticks but nonetheless still amazing!

I had buffet breakfast in the hotel twice. Good variety of food, fruits and you can make your own juice. Most importantly I had really great coffee made by the barista.

Diana. On a recent trip to Sydney we were fortunate enough to be staying at The Park Royal. We had the buffet breakfast here & I have to say it was exceptionally good as far as buffets go. Am not usually a fan of buffets, but there was a good selection & most of it was hot (a rare thing for a buffet, if you don’t happen to score the first serve in the hot boxes!) Nice selection of Asian too & everything was fresh & the service unobtrusive & polite

Satisfying Buffet. Went to this restaurant for a new years buffet with a couple of friends this year and was quite satisfied with what was presented. The food consisted a variety of cold and hot dishes, which was all very fresh and tasty. Some very interesting dishes that i haven’t came across before, so it was quite diverse culturally across the food variety. It is a very small and private style buffet with just a couple of tables, so there wasn’t a vast amount of food but all in all the food was atleast very fresh, tasty, interesting and was filled up again once it ran out. The wines and beers available was amazing! Bottles laid out openly for your taking and refilling as many times as you want. Nice variety of wines and beers. Definately was full at the end of the meal and definately happy with the alcohol aswell!! 🙂 Good for couples and small groups of friends, wanting a peaceful and relaxing meal with a beautiful view of the harbour!

Usual suspects and some interesting bits. The usual suspects were on the menu including your selection of grilled steaks, lamb rump, salmon, spatchcock served with your choice of sauce and side. There was also an ‘Asian selection’ and a page of tapas. We tried 3 tapas dishes including juicy and plump olives, grilled aged beef with salsa verde that was nicely medium rare and garlic prawns which were in a sea of butter and olive oil. For mains ($29), we had the grilled salmon and grilled spatchcock with sides of carrot in cumin and caraway and a pea, mint and fetta salad. The descriptions all sounded better than the taste. The ideas were there but everything lacked flavour and seasoning. To make it worse, our mains were served lukewarm.
