Good vibes , tryna escape from the cbd crowd to get some lunch here .The food was very nice , and the service was great.Definetely will come back for lunch and coffee breaks!
Very disappointed with Black and Bronze. Captive adjacent hotel clientele I suspect means that trade is good regardless. The two breakfast orders came out a good 15 mins apart and by the time mine arrived the poached egg was hard boiled. The appearance of the mushroom sauce was horrid as it had congealed (presumably on the hatch) but it actually tasted ok. Presentation was no effort. Coffee was average at best, a little over extracted and thus bitter. Cosy, out of the way seating on the mezzanine was the highlight.
Soooo slow!!! Has taken over 30mins just to get an order of bacon and eggs and still not here. Don’t go here unless you have plenty of time on your hands. Can’t review the food as it hasn’t arrived yet!!
Had a quick bite for dinner with a uni friend here, and the atmosphere was very quiet (also being next to adina hotel). We were incidentally the only people sitting so maybe that’s why. Was slightly nervous over the quality of the food I ordered, with it being a basic carbonara, and my friend ordering a seafood pasta. He was fine with his (but not amazed). Same response from me, but I found the sauce slightly too heavy for my liking, though I still finished the food. Would consider for a uni budget (reasonably within $16), but probably not for me when I’m older.
Family had a quick meal here and the redang Beef Curry is certainly worth having. Rest of menu not bad either. Only complaint would be lack of Gluten Free options but this would not put me off eating here again.
Pretty reasonable lunches are offered for this part of town. The $10 specials included 4 items and they have other items up to $20. The $10 gave me a lunch pizza which was okay but not spectacular, and did the job of filling me up. Another <$4 gave me a cappuccino. The service was pretty good too with hardly anyone eating in this place.
