Japanese hostess bar or ramen noodle house? Why not both? Club Crescent’s evening gentlemen’s club turns into a ramen house by dayย – surely a stroke of commercial genius. We bet you’ve walked past this basement bar and never noticed it before, a discreet set of stairs between the Hilton Hotel and the old Gowings building opposite the QVB. Now it’s one of the most talked about ramen joints on Instagram.
I had the Tsukemen.. And it was delicious. Noodle texture was perfectly chewy, and the filling broth was thick and full of flavours. It’s a bit hard eating while sitting on a couch, but always worth it. Please don’t go anywhere and stay open forever.
I tried out the hip new ramen bar, it had bar seating as well as lounge seating. I wanted to try Swampmen, however it was sold out so I ended up ordering tonkotsu miso ramen instead. The staff were friendly and the place got packed really quickly.
