Duck & Rice is set on a rooftop in Westfield Sydney, seven levels above and worlds away from Pitt Street Mall. Our moody, art-deco adorned restaurant and bar emulates the history of Shanghai and Hong Kong, and development of modern China. Duck & Rice is a nod to ancient Chinese dynasties spanning 3000 years and the revolutionary ideas of Western art and design in the 1920s and 30s. While Cantonese cuisine carries the weight of our menu, glimpses of other provincial Chinese influence can be seen and tasted through the textures and flavours of each dish. Duck & Rice is an example of how traditional Chinese food and culture have collided, resulting in a menu that embraces a true melting pot of cuisines.
