Pretty decent portion of fish and chips from this fast food spot in the MLC food court and the quality is not too bad for the price you pay. There is a variety of different meal combos to choose from so would try some of the other ones next time.
Craving for seafood during your lunch break? This is a great place for fast fresh seafood and a quick catch up with friends & colleagues. The battered fish is crunchy and succulent. The oily fish aroma just hits the senses, squeeze of lemon and a gentle grazing of tartare before one dives in with a big mouthful bite. Follow by a big forkful of refreshing salad and a sip of ice cold solo 😉 Life is GOOD
Fresh, delicious fish and chips meal. Loved the quick service in this busy over congested food court during lunch service. Was adequately priced for the serving and the location. Would go again but next time to try a healthier option.
Newly opened, Costi offers up a range of fishy treats to the lunchtime crowd. In line with the current trend to healthy eating, they have some tasty looking salads for those that can bear to eat their fish without chips. Not me, fish and chips go together like salt and pepper, Amal and George, you get the picture. Unfortunately I was not that impressed by Costi’s fish and chips. The anticipation of a ritually fatty salty lipsmacking feast rather outstripped the actual experience.
Famous Fish is owned by Costi, which makes sense, given the food is almost identical – thankfully.However, what does not make sense is the fact that nearly everything costs more. I purchased the mixed grill, received an identical mix but payed 15.90 for the privilege. Bit steep given that Costi’s themselves charge 13.90.Other than that, quite good.
