Tasty dumplings and a fun selection of Japanese beer makes for a really great time at Harajuku dumplings. I recommend trying some of the odd selections on the menu like ‘Cheeseburger dumplings’ , and ‘mozarella dumplings’. I really enjoyed the duck dumplings poached in a spicy vinegar! For the beer and dumplings I give the place a 4, but unfortunately I didn’t love the fried eggplant side that we ordered. I’m definitely keen to try more next time! theminiaturelife.com
Fantastic location and food comes out real quick! Too bad the actual food is a bit of a disappointment. Youd think having the Gyoza in your title would mean your Gyozas would be good, but unfortunately they were incredibly meh We got the mozzarella and the pork filling gyoza, mozzarella was bland and the pork one was not as flavourful as I had hoped it to be. We also ordered the kaarage chicken, long fries and eggplant. Ive had better kaarage chicken and tempura eggplants to be honest and the fries were okay, it wasnt like wow this is amazing I think its the length thats the hype of it all. Husband and I enjoyed the cider and beer, you cant get that wrong. We also wanted to try the raindrop cake so we ordered the OG and we were surprised at how delicious it was. We thought it would be bland but it had the perfect balance of sweetness, it was perfect that we had to order another one. Husband isnt a fan of matcha in general but I had to try that one and it was just as good. In conclusion, Harajuku Gyoza is not good for their gyozas but good for the bevies, cider, desserts and atmosphere.
Energising atmosphere. Went on a Friday night and there were lots of people there after work. The place was buzzing. This place specialises in gyoza and beer.Start the night test testing at the bar then move onto a table. My fav is the cider with hibiscus and pineapple. My favs for the night would be the takoyaki gyoza, cheesebuger gyoza (I wasn’t going to get this however staff recommended it. I’m so glad I tried it. It actually tastes like a cheeseburger but without the bun. I actually prefer this version), cucumber salad and the long fries.
