The dishes were all pretty decent, nothing special. The dishes werent very hot when served though. The skin on half of the nemo dumplings were unfortunately broken and the lamb cumin dumplings looked nothing like the photo provided in the menu, looked pretty low quality tbh. The portions for the soft shell crab&squid, and the sweet and sour pork werent worth the price you pay. I was really looking forward to the slow cooked pork belly but 1/3 of it was meat and the rest was just fat which unfortunately mostly just went to waste. It was also disappointing that they only had 2 out of the 5 desserts available….

Food was pretty good, even though after a detailed explanation to my friend who to eat it without burning the mouth, we find the bottom of the jumbo xiaolongbao has been broken and all the soup has leaked…service was friendly, very nice location. The price was a bit high, but understandable considering the location.

Got invited to try this place out and it was just delish! The food was presented really well and tasted just as good.Food was really fresh and cooked to perfection. The place also has an extensive menu with lots to choose from which can be quite daunting but whatever you choose, you’re guaranteed to not be disappointed. The service was also really good and the place is also quite pretty inside.Definitely one to visit and would highly recommend this place.

Hulu At King Street Wharf is the sister restaurant to Bistro Hulu in Crows Nest. With a beautiful panorama, its interior is modern Asian decor overlooking the harbour. It sets the tone for our evening. The cuisine is modern Chinese with hints of Japanese and French in its menu. It is unlike most Chinese weve had as its innovative and bold but still doesnt lose the essence of the traditional flavours. The menu is extensive and produces some exquisite dishes. Their signature dishes of the Nemo Dumplings and Sweet & Sour Pork On Ice may at first appearance look slightly gimmicky but can assure you it backs it up with flavour! The dumplings are shaped like the character and are filled filled with prawns. The pork is served on a bed of ice and is oh so crispy on the outside and tender inside. Great flavour. The Mongolian Beef which comes with a sizzle utilises eye fillet which is the prime cut of beef and melts in the mouth. Jasmine Tea Smoked Duck had a wonderful smoky flavour. The highlight for us were the Silky Tofu And Enoki Mushrooms. The tofu is house made and has a delicious creamy texture, you couldnt stop at the first bite. It is unlike any other tofu we had tried. The finale of Deep Fried Ice Cream is enveloped by a white chocolate ball and a hot nutella sauce is poured over it to reveal the perfectly crunchy ice cream ball. Great piece of theatre and great end to the meal. Thank you to Miss Yoyo and chef Johnny as well as their staff for the warm hospitality and service provided.

Beautiful interior decoration overlooking the water on king street wharf. Plenty of seating on two levels. The staff were very attentive and provided great service. The dumplings and dim sum were delicious, fun and a modern twist to the dumplings as part of Hulus signature dim sim. Each dish had a twist to the typically Chinese cuisine, this modern Chinese restaurant takes a cool spine on each dish. A must try is the sweet and sour pork served on ice cubes!

    | Darling Harbour | Hulu | So finally been wanting to try this place out for a while! Located on Kings Street Wharf! It has some nice interiors and the staff were quite accomodating to our needs when we got there..with lots of yum cha dishes to choose from… Nemo Dumplings – These were quite cute so had to choose these guys. These steamed dumplings had prawn fillings which was quite nice. Tasted quite fresh and cooked to perfection..Crispy & Cheesy Prawn Dumplings – Another favourite of mine. Outside is quite crispy as self explanatory. Doesnt taste like pear at all and it has some nice prawn filling as well.. Pan Fried Mushroom Dumplings – These were so juicy, cooked quite uniquely with truffle oil and something quite exquisite about it. Not your average dumplings..Crispy Squid Tentacles – My classic favourite of them all. These have some nice crunch and chewiness to it and quite flavoursome and doesnt taste fishy at all..Mocktails – Both these drinks were refreshing and quite nice to drink from. Not too sweet too.

Food is pretty good but it comes with price tags in the fabulous location. They need to go easy with salt as most dishes were really salty. Especially the salt & pepper calamari, all we tasted were salt. We love the black pepper beef but you have to eat with steam rice otherwise way too salty. The scallops with snow peas on the other hand was very bland and almost tasteless. Overall, nice addition to King St Wharf.
