Ordered a seafood siram, which is like a rice noodle stir fry with an egg gravy poured over it. One of favorite Malaysian dishes and I try it at most Malaysian restaurants I go to.I was a bit skeptical about Jimmy’s Recipe as I always assumed it wasn’t authentic based on the Circular Quay outlet I’ve been to. I don’t know why, but the Town Hall outlet is so much better! I’d definitely do the walk all the way over to TH from CQ just to eat at this Jimmy’s instead.
The place is incredibly spacious and their food is really reasonably priced. You can get a huge bowl of food for only $13 (and under) and it’s bound to make you full. Furthermore, it’s close to Town Hall station, so it’s super convenient and a great place to eat at if you are in a rush because you will always find a seat. You pay at the front and get your meal, rather than ordering at your seat.
