I live for these baked potatoes omg! The ultimate lunch time treat. A huge spud then doused in butter, melted cheese and sour cream. It’s gorgeous gooey potato heaven! If you’re more healthy they also do a great range of fresh squeezed juices and salads.

A random search for a lunch option took me to Juicier a salad and juice bar in the pleasant surroundings of the Australia Square food court. Not being much of a salad eater unless I am feeling particularly porky (as I was on this occasion immediately after the festive period) I aimed for something vaguely familiar a medium-sized Thai Beef Salad ($8). The salad had a pleasing sheen from its sauce with a healthy amount of beef and an array of fresh looking vegetables. The sauce was certainly tasty enough and the greens were crunchy to the bite with no hint of limpness, however the beef itself was something of a disappointment. Obviously you arent expecting a Wagyu cut at that price but its surely not unreasonable for any gristle to be removed and the beef to actually be diced properly? The plus side is that I actually received a free work-out from the salad courtesy of the effort required to chew the beef. My jaw has never felt so muscular. thernbdiary.com

Juicer is located in the newly revamped Australia Square foodcourt. You can order from their suggested juices or create your own! A small is $4.50 and a medium $6.00 and the staff are friendly and prompt to squeeze your fresh creation. They also have yogurts and salads for takeaway however for me I come by here on a hot day for a fresh squeezed juice as it’s in the perfect location.
