Walked past this place during lunch and saw some lunch specials which seemed pretty worthwhile. I ordered the nasi lemak with beef rendang for takeaway. The food was ok, their nasi lemak is definitely much better than their neighbouring competitor nur Muhammad – but it wasnt as aromatic as Id like and had too much coconut milk. Meat was very tender though which Ill give them credit for. The sambal was ok, had too many peanuts inside it for my liking. Overall, an ok meal for lunch but I would likely not come here for dinner servings.

Their roti was fluffy but pretty small compared to other Malaysian restaurants and the curries accompaniments were quite bland. We also got their roti kaya…or just their plain roti because there was minimal kaya present…
