Convenient place to go and pick up a light snack. I mainly come here for the samosas, which are huge and around $3 each. The staff are friendly and there’s dining available indoors.

I was looking to grab a curry for lunch, and as I was time-poor, I settled on Mirchi with some apprehension; when the food sits in a bain-marie at the counter, it is unlikely to be the nicest meal you will ever have.It turns out that my scepticism was misplaced, and the food was in fact very tasty. I had the medium meal for $9.90, which allowed me to pick two curries on a bed rice. This was a very generous serving size for the price, and definitely managed to fill me up! Both the butter chicken and lamb korma were flavoursome (especially compared equivalent curries made by rival food providers) and both meats were tender. Additionally, the service was extremely fast – I was served immediately, and was on my way within a minute.Overall, if you’re looking for a fast Indian meal and happen to be nearby, Mirchi will effectively satisfy your needs.

The best ever CHOMIEN ….!!! Thanks to chef Angat..! And Momo’s were OK to. I haven’t tried there Indian/Nepalese food yet as there is a other Indian shop across on Pitt street which is one of best in CBD. But hopefully soon will try these guys to. Thanks again for the beautiful Indian Chinese fusion food. All the best guys.

Friendly staff (Angad especially) and a great range of buffet and freshly cooked choices. Prices very reasonable and portion sizes generous. Great little find in World Square.
