Came here on a Friday night, the food and experience was great! The quality of the meats were exceptional, in my opinion the wagyu stood out to me. My favourite dish of meat would have to be premium wagyu assortment. The meat was soft and juicy. I also liked the concept of the touch screen menus on each table. The waiter recommended us to try the Dassai Sparkling Sake. It tasted light and fruity. The service was fast and friendly.
Very much enjoyed the quality of wagyu, all the cuts were very soft, melted in your mouth and service so prompt + quick. Ordering off a touch screen was simple and easy. The buffet menu is far more extensive with unlimited salmon, kingfish and tuna sashimi. They also have nigiri, lotus chips and roasted green tea ice cream! A little pricey but worth the try. I would easily return
Musou Yakiniki is a nice Japanese BBQ restaurant situated in Sydney CBD. They have a good selection of different cuts of meat for BBQ as well as sashimi and salad to accompany the meats.
Such a confusing score rate because they do have excellent meat & taste but price is pricey and portion is too small, and the food comes around like 15 mins. We had the ala carte (not the buffet).
This is a really good Japanese bbq restaurant in the city. The ox tongue, beef outside skirt and premium wagyu ribs were my favourites and I preferred them marinated when you order them on the tablet screen. The seared tuna with radish ponzu was also really good and fresh. The restaurant was also really well ventilated so the bbq smell wasnt too strong afterwards. Overall, great bbq restaurant and happy to come back again!
Their BBQ buffet at $85 for 2 hours seems a little pricey, so we opted for a la carte. It was hard to gauge how many plates to order as not clear how big the serving sizes are from the photos on the iPad. There were a good range of beef cuts to choose from. The range of the other proteins were not as extensive, but it did have all the standards. All of the raw meat were great, the scallop was particularly impressive with it served in its shell with a chunk of butter to melt over the scallop. The sides & cooked food were good quality & tasty too. The food themselves ended up costing just under $30 per person, but adding in the drinks makes it about $50.
